Chris 51 and Joshua South have written their own text book through countless hours of research and hands-on experience. You will learn how to build and repair tattoo machines. You will build and use your own needles. You will learn and understand color theory. You will be able to identify various kinds of skin diseases and conditions. You will be prepared for business operations, including classes on taxes, insurance and marketing. You will perfect the procedures of sanitation and sterilization. In addition to what the Oregon Health Licensing Agency requires, you will also be instructed in all basic art practices including freehand design directly on the skin. Finally, you will be surrounded by five exceptional established tattoo artists, each with unique and different styles, and each willing to share tips and secrets to their success.
